​Donaco Medical Supply, now operating as HR HealthCare Patient Services, began as a family-owned medical supply company in Woodstock, GA, specializing in catheters and urological supplies. The company’s story is deeply personal and rooted in resilience. On March 25, 2005, Cindy Donald, home from college on Good Friday, was sunbathing in the driveway when her father, Jerry, unexpectedly drove up, not realizing she was there. That moment changed their lives forever.

Following Cindy’s accident, she faced numerous challenges associated with paralysis, including frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Determined to find solutions, the family dedicated countless hours researching ways to minimize infections. During this time, they became familiar with products from Medical Technologies of Georgia (MTG), a company founded by the Golden family and later acquired by HR HealthCare. With a legacy spanning decades in catheter development, the Golden family has forged deep connections with individuals and organizations in the spinal cord injury (SCI) community. Randy Golden, now a sales leader for HR HealthCare, helped support Cindy after transitioning through various catheterization methods — intermittent catheters and enclosed system kits, to eventually use the “EZ-Advancer,” which significantly reduced her UTIs. Inspired by this success, the Donald family founded Donaco Medical Supply to provide high-quality urological products that could help others facing similar challenges.

In 2024, HR HealthCare acquired several medical supply businesses, including Donaco Medical Supply, as part of its strategic expansion to deliver a comprehensive and cohesive urological solution for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. While now part of a larger organization, HR HealthCare remains committed to preserving Donaco’s legacy of compassion and dedication. Today, Dallas Donald plays an integral role in leading the Patient Services team.
