Alexandria Allen
Adaptive athlete, model,
and disability advocate
About Alexandria
At 17, Alexandria Allen sustained a spinal cord injury in a car accident. In the years since, she has built an independent life and became an adaptive athlete, model, and disability advocate. Her work brings visibility to what it takes to live well with aspinal cord injury, including the parts of daily care that people rarely see.
For Alexandria, bladder care is one of those parts. She used to experience urinary tract infections almost every month. It was a constant battle that felt like she would live with forever. Finding a catheter that felt easy to use while maintaining a sanitary routine mattered to her.
Alexandria shares that milestone as part of her own experience. She knows how much thought can go into choosing everyday medical supplies, and she wants other patients to feel confident asking questions and finding products that work for them to live a more abundant life regardless of the circumstances they face.
Through her advocacy, Alexandria hopes to make conversations about spinal cordinjury and bladder health more open, practical, and patient centered
Alexandria is a paid patient ambassador for HR HealthCare. Her comments reflect her personal experience and are not clinical study results. Individual experiences, including urinary tract infection history and outcomes, may vary based on personal health factors, catheterization technique, care practices, and other factors. EZ-Advancer incorporates introducer-tip technology designed to help reduce the risk of urinary tract infection when used as directed. Consult your healthcare professional to discuss the catheter and bladder-management approach appropriate for your individual needs.
“The moment I tried the EZ-Advancer, I switched. The introducer tip makes it so easy for me to keep things sanitary and
the softer catheter makes it so much
easier to pass through my stoma.”
